The Iowa FBLA State Leadership Conference (SLC) is a two-day conference held each spring. The conference consists of general sessions, competitive events, seminars, workshops, the election of officers, awards and recognition, special programs, and other leadership and educational learning activities.
Conference rates are based on the number of nights the attendee stays at an official Iowa FBLA hotel.
Standard Rate (member, adviser, adult):
2 night stay = $100 registration cost
1 night stay = $115 registration cost
No stay = $130 registration cost
Volunteer Rate (adviser, adult):
2 night stay = $60 registration cost
1 night stay = $75 registration cost
No stay = $90 registration cost

OPEN TEST EVENTS
Computer Operating Systems, HTML-CSS, Java Programming, Nonprofit Management, Python Programming, and Retail Management
ADVISER & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETINGS
Iowa FBLA will host two adviser and professional development meetings at the State Leadership Conference. One meeting will focus on important conference topics and Department of Education updates while a second meeting will focus on the 2023 National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA.
Due to space constraints, many performance events will be held in an open ballroom format, simultaneously, rather than a closed small conference room.
An exclusive experience for members to relax, network, and hang out on Thursday night. Club FBLA will include a soda bar, soft seating, yard games, and dancing.
FBLAOPOLY GOLD CHAPTER MEETUP
A special event pre-Friday night entertainment for all chapters that earned FBLAOPOLY Gold and VIP seating for the hypnotist.
VOLUNTEER & ALUMNI RECEPTION
An exclusive networking reception for Iowa FBLA volunteers, judges, and alumni to engage and network Thursday evening.

Iowa FBLA is challenging all chapters to fundraise, purchase, and bring to SLC as many 2-yard pieces of fleece as possible to help make tie blankets for children in need in collaboration with Project Linus!
Scissors and additional blanket-making materials will be provided.
