CHAPTER ACTIVATOR
MINI GRANT
ABOUT THE MINI GRANT
We hear you - starting a chapter of a career and technical student organization (CTSO) can be a little stressful, and with the Iowa Department of Education requirement for Perkins V coming in August 2024, you may be asking yourself where to begin.

Iowa Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the largest statewide and nationwide CTSO for business and computer science, is excited to launch our Chapter Activator Mini Grant to take the stress of starting a CTSO and getting members motivated off your plate as an institution.

The Chapter Activator Mini Grant awards your institution over $1,000 in value to begin FBLA for your students, including:
-
Ten (10) free registrations to the State Leadership Conference over the 23-24 and 24-25 academic years
-
A Chapter Start Up Kit with membership materials and $100 in funds for recruitment and retention of members
-
A personalized visit from an Iowa FBLA State Officer
-
One-on-One chapter adviser training from Iowa FBLA Staff
-
Virtual Competitive Events training for members

Getting started is simple. Review all the Chapter Activator Mini Grant has to offer on the reverse side and complete the requested form by January 18, 2024. A member of Iowa FBLA Staff will reach out to schedule a meeting with your institution to set you up for success.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make FBLA a part of your business and computer science programs, supporting the growth and development of the next generation.
